Pau d'Arco
Pau d'Arco is an herbal extract from the inner bark of trees found in the South American rain forest. The main active ingredient is a substance called lapachol which has been found to induce strong biological activity against cancer. Reports indicate that lapachol is well tolerated, however, nausea, vomiting, and slow clotting have occurred with very high oral doses.
