One of many books by Heinerman on natural healing, this book concentrates on nutrients. Dr. Heinerman makes nutrition interesting and he backs up what he says with ample scientific references and interesting historical facts. While this book does not concentrate solely on cancer issues, it is comprehensive for total health and sites many anti cancer nutrients and the studies that support them. Of particular interest to me were the histories of selenium and laetrile. Dr. Heinerman explains nutrition in plain English.
Following is a list of some of the other books he has authored: Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Juices, Teas, and Tonics (1996), Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Fruits and Vegetables (1995), Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Healing Herbs and Spices (1995), Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Nuts, Berries & Seeds (1995) and Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Healing Juices (1994)
